Tripura Pradesh Congress President Demands Action Against Alleged Trespassers
Northeast Desk, 5th March: Tripura Pradesh Congress President Ashish Kumar Saha penned a letter to the Sepahijala District Superintendent of Police, B J Reddy, on March 4, urging immediate action against alleged criminal trespassers from the Karaimura Congress party office at Bishalgarh under Sepahijala district.
In the letter, PCC Chief Saha asserted that the Congress Party Office, known as Rajiv Bhavan, located at Karaimura bazaar, Karaimura, under the 16 Bishalgarh Assembly Constituency, was criminally trespassed by BJP cadres from the area, led by one Jaydul Hussain, late last night.
Saha highlighted that the land, building, furniture, and fixtures legally belonged to the Congress Party for the past 25 years. He alleged that Jaydul Hussain, along with other BJP members, forcibly entered the premises, broke open the door lock, removed the “Rajiv Bhavan” signboard, and replaced Congress party symbols with BJP flags.
The letter emphasized the urgency of initiating necessary action to remove the alleged trespassers from the premises and hand over control to the Congress Party organizational Block President of the 16 Bishalgarh AC. Saha called for the criminal trespassers, particularly Jaydul Hussain and his associates, to be booked under appropriate sections of the IPC.
Saha warned that if no action was taken promptly, the Congress would mobilize its active party workers and supporters to reclaim the premises from the alleged trespassers, holding the SP responsible for any ensuing consequences.
