Tripura: Remembering Khudiram Bose on His 134th Birth Anniv

Guwahati: The Shaheed Khudiram Bose Commemoration Committee remembered the martyr of India’s liberation struggle, Khudiram Bose on the 134th anniversary of his birth in Tripura on Saturday.

The Committee members decorated the statue of the great freedom fighter in front of Ujjayanta Palace in the nation’s capital in honour of Khudiram Bose’s enormous contribution to India’s Independence.

Speaking on the occasion, Hara Krishna Bhowmik, secretary of the Shaheed Khudiram Bose Commemoration Committee, said: “Many freedom warriors gave their lives to ensure India’s independence. Khudiram Bose was one of the youngest fighters for India’s independence to go to the execution chamber.”

The 134th anniversary of Shaheed Khudiram Bose’s birth is this year.

On the occasion, we paid tribute to the “patriotism and indomitable courage” that were showcased by Bose and stated that his sacrifice inspired the youth of the country to fight for independence, he added.
