Tripura SC Welfare Department Sets 100-Day Mission for Inclusive Development
Agartala: In a renewed push towards inclusive development, the Tripura Department for Welfare of Scheduled Castes has launched a focused 100-day mission aimed at accelerating the implementation of key schemes for the socio-economic upliftment of SC communities.
The announcement was made by Minister for SC Welfare, Sudhangshu Das, following a high-level review meeting held in Agartala.
Addressing the media, Das emphasized that the meeting’s core objective was to assess the performance of the department during the 2024–25 fiscal year and strategize for more effective execution of welfare programs in the ongoing 2025–26 financial year. “We reviewed both our achievements and shortcomings. Based on that, we’ve decided to move ahead with a 100-day target plan, where several important schemes will be implemented in a mission mode,” he stated.
The minister highlighted the urgency of ensuring timely benefits to the SC community, underlining the government’s commitment to uplift marginalized sections through sustained and measurable action. He further noted that this initiative will not only focus on social welfare but also enhance economic opportunities and overall quality of life for SC families across Tripura.
By setting a structured 100-day timeline, the department aims to fast-track delivery and ensure transparency and accountability in reaching its developmental goals.
