Tripura Sets Sights on Educational Ascendancy, Reports Job Surge
Agartala: In a decisive move aimed at reshaping Tripura’s educational landscape, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has reiterated his administration’s dedication to forging the state into a premier education hub, directly echoing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s national agenda.
Speaking publicly, Dr. Saha underscored the tangible outcomes of ongoing initiatives, citing the recent placement of 228 individuals through the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) as a testament to the government’s focused efforts.
He emphasized the dual strategy of infrastructural development and the cultivation of a contemporary educational framework, asserting, “Our efforts are focused on building infrastructure and promoting a modern education system in Tripura.”
He assured the public that the momentum of these investments, both in physical resources and human capital, will be sustained, promising a more luminous academic trajectory for the state.
Further bolstering the narrative of progress, Dr. Saha, addressing the state’s employment scenario, reported a notable reduction in the unemployment rate. He attributed this positive shift to the government’s proactive stance in creating diverse employment avenues, coupled with a transparent recruitment policy. He disclosed that under the current administration, 17,554 individuals have secured employment positions by March 2025, with an additional 3,554 receiving government job appointment letters in 2025 alone.
As the state’s Education Minister, Dr. Saha highlighted the continuous flow of employment opportunities, noting that “the process of distributing offers one after another has been going on for the last few months,” signifying a sustained commitment to job creation and educational advancement.
