Tripura: Three Bangladeshi Nationals Arrested for Illegal Entry

Northeast Desk, 30th April: Tripura Police have arrested three Bangladeshi nationals from the Dharmanagar area in North District for reportedly entering Indian territory a few months ago with the help of touts.

Sources indicate that the arrests came as a result of Tripura Police’s vigilant mobile patrolling in Dharmanagar, North District. The three individuals, identified as Mansur Ali, Mohammad Kaim, and Rassel Ahmed, were detained under suspicious circumstances. Upon interrogation, they failed to produce any valid documents upon police request.

Further inquiry revealed that the detained individuals confessed to their illegal entry into Tripura from Bangladesh. Prompt action was taken by law enforcement authorities, leading to their arrest for their unlawful presence in the state. Subsequently, the trio was presented before the court for further legal proceedings, as confirmed by a police official.
