Tripura Trinamool Congress President Pijush Kanti Biswas Resigns, Expresses Gratitude to Mamata Banerjee
National Desk, 25th July: Tripura Unit Trinamool Congress President Pijush Kanti Biswas announced his resignation from the position on July 24, citing personal reasons. In a letter addressed to West Bengal Chief Minister and All India Trinamool Congress President Mamata Banerjee, Biswas expressed his decision to step down from the post of President, Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Congress Committee, as well as his primary membership of the party.
In the letter, Pijush Kanti Biswas conveyed his gratitude to Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee, General Secretary of All India Trinamool Congress (AITMC), for bestowing him with the responsibility of leading the party’s operations in Tripura.
Biswas’ resignation comes as a significant development within the Trinamool Congress in Tripura and may lead to discussions about the party’s leadership and future strategies in the region.
