Tripura: Twipra Students Federation Calls for CBI Probe into TTAADC Exam Answer Key Leak

Northeast Desk, 10th June: In a bold move, the Twipra Students Federation (TSF), representing the North East Students’ Organisation (NESO), has demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry into the recent leak of the answer key for recruitment exams under the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC).

Submitting a memorandum to Tripura’s Governor, Indra Sena Reddy Nallu, on June 10, the TSF expressed grave concern over the incident. The leak forced the postponement of exams for the Sub Zonal Development Officer and Deputy Principal Officer positions, originally scheduled for June 9.

While one individual has been arrested in connection with the case, the TSF insists on a comprehensive and impartial investigation by the CBI to uncover and prosecute all involved in the malpractice.

“This incident severely undermines the recruitment process’s credibility,” the TSF emphasized in its memorandum. “It has shattered the confidence of aspirants who prepared diligently and honestly for these examinations.”

The TSF demands the immediate suspension and investigation of suspected officials to prevent tampering with evidence or influencing the investigation. Furthermore, it calls for strict and exemplary punishment for those found guilty, including legal action and dismissal from their positions.

“Only a CBI inquiry, given its independent and authoritative nature, can reveal the truth and ensure justice without external influences,” the memorandum emphasized. “This step is crucial for restoring students’ and the public’s faith in Tripura’s administrative and recruitment processes.”

The TSF advocates for robust security measures in future exams to prevent similar incidents and safeguard the integrity of the recruitment process.
