Tripura: Vishwa Hindu Parishad Initiates Statewide Campaign to Extend Invitations for Ram Temple Inauguration in Ayodhya
Northeast Desk, 18th December: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) is gearing up to launch a statewide campaign in Tripura, inviting people to attend the inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya of Uttar Pradesh, a leader on Sunday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the newly built temple on January 22.
During a press conference, Sachin Koloi, the VHP Tripura prant (chapter) president, shared that eight brass pots containing ‘prasad’ from Ayodhya have already reached the state. These pots will be dispatched to various district headquarters, and volunteers will extend invitations to the public for the Ram Temple inauguration on January 22.
The comprehensive drive to invite people is slated to kick off from January 1 and will persist until January 15, as outlined by Koloi. Additionally, the VHP plans to organize a special ritual (puja) at a temple in each mandal of the state on January 22 to commemorate this historic event, as highlighted by Sankar Roy, the VHP secretary of the Tripura chapter.
