Tripura’s CM Hails ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ as a Tribute to Nation’s Heroes
AGARTALA: In a vibrant display of patriotic fervor, Tripura’s Chief Minister, Manik Saha, affirmed that the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign is a profound homage to the valiant individuals who have sacrificed their lives for the nation’s sovereignty.
The CM, while actively participating in a door-to-door initiative at his own Baradowali Assembly Constituency on August 11, expressed his immense satisfaction with the overwhelming public enthusiasm across the state. This year marks the third consecutive celebration of the campaign, which was initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Speaking to the media, Dr. Saha highlighted that the national flag is the embodiment of India’s pride, and the program serves as a collective expression of gratitude. “This is not just for those who fought during our freedom struggle, but also for the brave soldiers who continue to protect our borders,” he said. He further detailed that Tripura, in unison with the rest of the country, is observing the campaign in a phased manner from August 2 to 15, culminating in the hoisting of the Tricolour on Independence Day. The Chief Minister also remarked on the joyous and enthusiastic reception from the people, noting how the campaign has ignited a wave of patriotism that has reached every household. Dr. Saha emphasized that the primary objective of this massive outreach is to fortify national unity and inspire every citizen to contribute towards building a stronger India. “The immense success of this program and the participation of our people truly reflect the deep-seated respect they hold for our Tricolour,” he concluded.
