Guwahati: The leader of the Tipra Motha Party and a descendant of Tripura’s erstwhile royal dynasty, Pradyut Kishore Manikya Debbarma, stated his optimism for his party’s success in the upcoming elections in a viral audio clip. Debbarma advised his supporters not to be discouraged by the exit poll results asserting that the media outlets that broadcast these polls are paid to report anything.
According to Debbarma, the people of Tripura know who they voted for and who will win. He continued by saying that after the results of the election on March 2 are announced, everyone of India would watch to see what Tiprasa does this time. According to Debbarma, the Tipra Motha Party will make history in the upcoming elections.
The erstwhile royal scion also expressed concern for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) followers, stating that they would require assistance to get over their grief after the election results were released. He emphasised that while those who lose elections typically publish their results early, his party’s triumph is certain.
According to Debbarma, they would discuss a constitutional solution when the election results are announced on March 2.
