Trishakti Dron-A-Thon 2024 to Showcase Cutting-Edge Drone Innovations in Sikkim

Northeast Desk, 25th September: The Trishakti Dron-A-Thon 2024, a premier exhibition spotlighting the latest advancements in drone technology, is set to be held from October 1 to 3 at the Sikkim Field Firing Range in East Sikkim. This much-anticipated event will feature demonstrations of state-of-the-art unmanned aerial systems (UAS), offering a glimpse into the future of drone capabilities.

Key highlights include kamikaze drones for targeted destruction, search and rescue drones with life-saving potential, and drones optimized for logistics and supply chain management. The event will also showcase tethered drones, night-enabled ISR drones for enhanced intelligence and surveillance, and swarm drones capable of performing coordinated missions. Other innovations like electronic and communication drones and First Person View (FPV) drones for immersive real-time control will also be displayed.

Drone enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, and professionals will have the opportunity to engage with industry leaders and experts. An Army official emphasized, “The Trishakti Dron-A-Thon 2024 aims to propel India’s drone revolution, fostering collaboration and innovation.”

Spanning three days, the exhibition is expected to draw participants from across India, reflecting growing interest in the potential of drone technology in both civilian and military sectors.
