Troubled Rap Star Lil Nas X Hospitalised and Taken into Custody in LA

LOS ANGELES – In a shocking turn of events, rapper Lil Nas X, real name Montero Lamar Hill, was apprehended and hospitalised early on Thursday morning in Los Angeles after being found wandering on a street in a state of distress. The incident, which unfolded around 4 am on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City, saw the Grammy-winning artist reportedly behaving erratically while wearing nothing but his underwear and cowboy boots.

Law enforcement officials said they received multiple calls regarding a man stumbling in the middle of the road. Upon their arrival, officers were allegedly charged at by the individual, who was then restrained and arrested. He has been charged with suspicion of battery on a police officer. Following the altercation, the 25-year-old was transported to a local hospital for a medical evaluation on suspicion of a possible overdose.

While the Los Angeles Police Department has not officially named the man in question, several media outlets, including ABC7 and TMZ, have cited sources that confirmed the person to be Lil Nas X. A video obtained by TMZ appeared to show a man matching the rapper’s description, with an orange traffic cone placed on his head.

The incident has caused a furore online, with fans expressing concern for the “Old Town Road” singer’s mental and physical well-being. The artist had recently opened up about personal struggles, and this episode follows a recent health scare where he revealed he had suffered from facial paralysis. His representatives have not yet issued an official statement.
