Guwahati: Sheezan Khan, a soap opera actor who was charged with allegedly aiding Tunisha Sharma’s suicide was released from prison on bail on Sunday after spending more than two months in jail.
According to reports, a court in Vasai, in the state’s Palghar district, granted him bail on Saturday, stating that since the investigation was finished and a chargesheet had been submitted, there was no need to keep him in custody.
Shazeen was embraced by his two sisters as he exited the Thane Central prison.
The actor and his family sped off after the performer declined to offer any comments on the situation.
According to reports, Tunisha Sharma was dating Sheezan Khan. Tunisha Sharma is believed to have committed suicide on December 24, a week after the two are said to have ended their brief romance.
Sheezan Khan, who starred alongside the 20-year-old thespian in “Ali Baba Dastaan-E-Kabul,” was arrested on suspicion of aiding suicide just hours after the actress passed away.
