Twitter To Increase Tweet Character Limit to 10,000
Guwahati: Twitter owner Elon Musk predicted that users would soon be allowed to publish lengthy tweets on the microblogging platform.
In response to a user’s question, Musk stated that the company will’soon’ increase Twitter’s character limit to 10,000.
The user, YouTuber @ThePrimeagen asked Musk, “The dev community and I were wondering if you could add code blocks to tweets?”
To which he replied, “As an attachment? How many chars? We are extending longform tweets to 10k soon.”
Although Musk stated that the firm would soon increase the character limit to 10,000, he left it unclear as to whether this feature would just be available to Twitter Blue members or if non-paid users would also be able to utilise it.
When exactly this new feature will be available is not specified by Musk.
Twitter said a month ago that it would allow US Blue members to send longer tweets of up to 4,000 characters.
