Two Arunachal Police Personnel Suspended for Alleged Drug Use
Itanagar: Two police personnel in Arunachal Pradesh’s Kra Daadi district have been suspended and face a departmental inquiry for allegedly consuming drugs.
The incident occurred on Wednesday night when the duo, along with two civilians, were apprehended during a police raid at a meat shop in Palin, the district headquarters.
During the operation, law enforcement officials seized two vials containing a suspected contraband substance weighing approximately 2.24 grams.
However, the prime suspect in the drug supply managed to evade capture, escaping under the cover of darkness and heavy rain.
Further investigation into the matter is currently underway.
