Two Burglaries Reported In A Day In Assam, 4 Arrested
Guwahati: Four suspects were arrested as they stole materials from a building project in Assam as robberies have increased.
The suspects were identified as, Shanti Das, Kosh Das and Nipon Das from Dakshinpat Kaiwart village.
The victim identified as Bihua Das of Narshingpur were all detained on suspicion of stealing building supplies from the Majuli-Jorhat Bridge project. The building company brought up the complaint after seeing and claiming the overall circumstance.
As per reports, the foundation stone of the bridge was laid in November 2021, and was launched by the Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma with the purpose of development and good route of transportation between Jorhat and Majuli. Building the bridge was a very important decision in the path of development.
With the light to another incident reported on the same day, 20 year old Arun Kumar, resident of Dhupdhura in Goalpara was found to be the victim of the incident. Sanam Ali was detained by the police in Kakira Agia after it was learned that a vehicle was stolen on January 11, 2023, and sold for 60 thousand rupees at the time.
There have been several complaints of burglaries, which are increasing on a regular basis. It is up to the individual how they maintain the highest level of protection for their own property and possessions.
