Guwahati: Two people were arrested for allegedly being involved in selling drugs while posing as fish vendors in Beltola area of Guwahati.
According to reports, the duo has been passing out drugs on the sidewalk while posing as fish vendors for a very long period.
The two arrestees have been identified as Ratul Ali and Atiqur Rahman. Both of them is a resident of Nalbari.
Reportedly, Police officials also seized nine containers filled with drugs suspected to be brown sugar from their possession.
Both of them were picked up from Survey area in Beltola.
Meanwhile, an investigation to unearth further linkages is underway.
