Two fire incidents reported in Delhi, no casualties

Guwahati: The national capital Delhi witnessed two fire incidents in separate places in the early hours on Friday.

The first incident was reported from Laxmi Nagar area where a fire broke out in Makkar Multispecialty hospital.

The fire was reported at around 8.10 am and no injuries were reported.

At least four fire tenders rushed to the hospital.

The second case was reported from Ansari Nagar East, near to AIIMS Metro Station where also the fire broke out in Safdarjung hospital.

The incident was reported at around 8.45 am and no injuries were reported.

Seven to eight fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the blaze were brought under control.

The fire brigade said that an elevator’s stabiliser caught fire on the building’s second floor.

However, no casualties were reported in both the incidents and the blaze has been brought under control.
