Guwahati: In the ongoing war against drugs, Assam Police arrested two more persons in Tinsukia district of Assam
The accused were identified as Raju Bannerjee and Faizul Islam and both of them were arrested from Tingrai village of the district.
A team led by SDPO Margherita and staff of Digboi Police Station apprehended two accused and recovered around 60 grams of suspected heroin from the them.
It may be mentioned that earlier on November 9, one person was arrested by the Bongaigaon police in drug case on Monday and a soap case containing 17.60 grams of Brown Sugar, two plastic vials containing 14grams of suspected Brown Sugar was recovered from the accused.
