A fresh two Covid 19 death case was reported late yesterday in Sikkim now with this total death tally reaches 18. Day before yesterday three Covid 19 death reported in Sikkim today. Meanhwhile, Sikkim recorded 33 new cases. There are now 582 active cases while the COVID tally in the state has reached 2119. Number of death has doubled in Sikkim in last week, one week back there were seven cases amd now it reaches 18.
While Sadar Police station and Axis Bank at MG Marg has also be declared containment zone following Covid 19 cases were reported from the mentioned places. Residents of Melli bazar has decided to shut down the market for 72 hours following one Covid 19 death which was reported yesterday. Residents have also submitted the petition to Melli police. But still the major of Covid cases are from Pharmceuticals which contributes 57 percent of Covid 19 patients.
