Guwahati: Assam Police gunned down two most wanted dacoits in Cachar district on Saturday night.
The duo identified as Kamrul Islam and Amrul Hussain, both residents of Sonai Saidpur and Sonai Krishnapur in Cachar respectively.
According to reports, the dacoits was shot dead while they allegedly attempted to flee from police custody.
They were reportedly arrested from Jorhat a few days ago for their involvement in several crimes.
