Two officers from Indian Navy have been killed after their glider crashed near the Thoppumpady bridge in Kochi on Sunday morning. According to Navy the glider crashed down at around 7 am, took off for a routine training from INS Garuda.
The two officers have been identified as Rajeev Jha (39) from Uttarakhand and Petty officer (Electrical Air) Sunil Kumar (29) from Bihar. The Southern Naval Command have ordered an inquiry into the crash incident.
