Guwahati: Two cadres belonging to the National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Unification (NSCN-U) has been arrested by Assam Rifles from Longding district of Arunachal Pradesh on Friday.
In a joint operation, Arunachal Police along with Assam Rifles arrested the insurgents from Dasatong village of the district.
Both of them were arrested while they were collecting extortion money from shopkeepers.
The rebels have been identified as 58-year-old Jangnee Lukham and 28-year-old Zanyam Konyak.
