Guwahati: Guwahati Police have seized 2kgs of opium and two persons were arrested at Guwahati railway station on Monday.
The arrestees identified as Abhyas Kumar and Sumal Kumar.
According to reports, the duo was arrested when they were en-route Bihar from Dimapur on a train.
Meanwhile, the recovered contraband costs Rs 1.4 crore in international market.
Currently, both of them are being interrogated to unearth further linkages.
It needs to be mentioned that the war against drugs has continued in Guwahati with repeated busts across the city.
