Two ULFA(I) Cadres Apprehended in Indo-Myanmar Border

Two ULFA(I) cadres have been arrested by Police from the Lazu Area close to the Indo-Myanmar border in Tirap District of Arunachal Pradesh. The duo on Friday Evening was reportedly moving in a suspicious manner in an Interior Village, following which they were picked up by the Police for questioning and were later arrested after being confirmed to be active ULFA(I) cadres.

The arrested Individuals have been identified as 25-year-old Binod Moran alias Nelachand Asom hailing and 32-year-old Astar Hussain alias Imtiaz Asom hailing from Assam’s Tinsukia and Golaghat District respectively. Meanwhile, an interrogation by Police with the arrested cadres are on.
