Guwahati, 12th March: In a tragic incident, two youths lost their lost their lives after their motorcycle collided with a roadside tree in Assam’s Sivasagar district on Monday night.
The accident occurred in Namti.
The identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained.
Sources informed that the duo was traveling from Namti to the Deopani area when the rider lost control of their motorcycle, bearing registration number ‘AS01-AF-9429’, resulting in a collision with a huge tree.
The impact of the crash was severe, leading to the immediate demise of both individuals.
One of the deceased individuals hailed from Mezenga Ketekibari, while the other was a resident of Bortola.
The bodies of the victims were shifted to Sivasagar Civil Hospital for post-mortem examinations following the incident.
