Guwahati, 21st August: Tragedy struck as two youths, identified as Kanaya Sahni and Golu Sahni from Jonai, went missing after taking an early morning bath in the Siang River during their Bol-Bom trip in Assam’s Pasighat on Monday.
Despite concerted efforts to locate them, the two youths have not been found. This incident highlights the inherent risks associated with water activities, especially in rivers with strong currents.
Local authorities and residents are actively engaged in search and rescue efforts to locate the missing youths, underscoring the importance of water safety measures and vigilance during recreational outings near water bodies.
