ULFA-I Condoles the Demise of Assamese Football Great Toshen Bora
Guwahati, 15th September: The United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Toshen Bora, a legendary footballer from Assam. In a statement, the organization hailed Bora as a celebrated athlete whose skills on the field earned him international recognition and endeared him to fans across the state.
“Toshen Bora was renowned for his exceptional talent and sportsmanship, becoming a beloved figure in Assamese football. His passing marks a great loss not just for Assam but for the global football community. He will forever be remembered as Assam’s equivalent to Maradona,” the ULFA-I said in its official statement.
Offering their heartfelt condolences to Bora’s family, ULFA-I also highlighted his contributions to football, acknowledging the pride and joy he brought to Assam through his achievements.
