ULFA-I Releases Names of 24 More Alleged Spies of Assam Police in Its Camp
Guwahati: A day after ULFA-I (Independent) stated to have executed two of its cadres on charges of being Assam Police spy in their camp, the banned outfit also released names of another 24 youths who they suspect to be spies of Assam Police in their camp.
According to the list, some of the alleged spies are:
- Raja Mech of Digboi
- Rani Maran and Raktim Gogoi of Tinsukia
- Ankur Dihingia of Lezai village in Dibrugarh
- Chandan Kumar Borah of Namrup town in Dibrugarh
- Rahul Tanti of Dibrugarh
- Diganta Gogoi and Vicky Gogoi of Nemuguri village in Sivasagar
- Robin Sangmai and Amit Orang of Sepon village in Sivasagar
- Baba of Patsaku area in Sivasagar
- Bhairav Gogoi of Sivasagar
- Palash Saikia of Sapekhati in Charaideo
- Pooja Gogoi of Charaideo
- Chandan Borah of Merapani town in Golaghat
- Moon Borah, Pranab Boro alias Swapnil Dekaraja, Bijit Saikia, Durlav Borah of Nagaon
- Sanjay Borah of Balipara town in Sonitpur District
- Aziz Bhuyan, Ankur Gogoi of Bihpuria town in Lakhimpur
- Tahir Abbaz Ali and Rahul Das of Guwahati
The militant outfit released the list a day after the Proscribed rebel outfit United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) is said to have killed two of its cadres on Saturday for allegedly “spying” on the outfit at the instruction of Assam police.
The two cadres were identified as Dhanjit Das alias Roopak Asom and Sanjib Sarma alias Rishav Asom.
Dhanjit Das hailed from lower Assam’s Barpeta town while Sanjib Sarma was a resident of Baihata Chariali in Kamrup district.
