ULFA (I) warns OIL for appointing ‘non-Assamese’ CMD

Guwahati: ULFA (Independent) Chief Paresh Baruah and among other student’s union of Assam stated on Thursday that the local eligible candidate in the state would be given preference in various position of Oil India Limited (OIL) company.

ULFA (I) Chief said that would refrain from any military intervene, if only the OIL company would appoint local eligible candidate for its Chairman and Managing Director post.

Baruah further claimed that OIL has betrayed the people of Assam, when it selected its Chairman and Managing Director Ranjit Rath.

Earlier in the statement, Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa had promised to take the demand at the forefront.

It needs to be mentioned that ULFA Chief further urges the people of Assam and other organisations such as All Assam Students’ Union (AASU), Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuva Chatra Parishad (AJYCP), Tea tribe etc. to register their grievances against Anti-Assam.
