Unidentified Insect Infestation Causes Distress in Assam’s Sipajhar

Guwahati, 10th May: Various sectors in Assam are grappling with a new threat as swarms of unidentified insects, resembling beetles, have invaded residential areas and institutions, sparking fear and prompting residents to vacate their homes.

In Sipajhar, families in Alikhapara have been forced to abandon their homes due to the relentless presence of these black-colored insects, which are found crawling along streets, doors, and even beds.

Meanwhile, Dalgaon Middle School in Kaliabor is besieged by an overwhelming swarm of these mysterious insects, causing distress among students and faculty members alike. Despite efforts to control the infestation, the insects persist, leaving many puzzled and concerned about the potential risks they pose.

Authorities and experts are working tirelessly to identify and address the source of the infestation. However, the agile and seemingly resistant nature of these insects has complicated containment efforts, raising fears about their ability to spread and cause harm.
