Unidentified Miscreants Torch Abandoned House in Manipur’s Jiribam District

Northeast Desk, 25th July: In Manipur’s Jiribam district, unidentified miscreants set fire to an abandoned kutcha house in Borobekra area on the night of July 24. The house had been left vacant by its owner due to recent violence in the region.

According to police reports, the assailants ransacked the property before igniting the fire. Local residents have called for immediate action from both central and state forces to apprehend those responsible and to remove militants from the area.
