Guwahati: The defence minister Rajnath Singh will travel to Assam on Wednesday (September 28). He will land at the Dibrugarh airport and attend a special event at the Dinjan Army camp at 4 PM today.
He will travel to Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday and take part in a full day of events there. The minister will then travel back to Assam the following day before returning to Delhi that late.
Prior to that, on April 23, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh travelled to Assam and took part in a ceremony honouring the combatants of the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War.
