Union Home Minister Amit Shah Denounces Misleading Tactics, Affirms BJP’s Commitment to Equality

Guwahati, 30th April: In a recent event in Guwahati on April 30, Union Home Minister Amit Shah emphasized the Bharatiya Janta Party’s (BJP) stance on treating all citizens equally, regardless of their community or religion.

“BJP does not see voters as majority or minority; All are Indian citizens. And BJP will win 12 seats in Assam,” he added.

The statement aimed to underscore the party’s commitment to inclusivity and equality, dismissing any notion of categorizing voters based on religious or communal lines.

Shah also addressed the misleading narrative propagated by Congress and opposition parties, particularly regarding BJP’s electoral goals and reservations.

He strongly criticized Congress for resorting to spreading fake videos to deceive the public. In the press conference, Shah presented both the fake video spread by Congress and the actual speech video of the Union Minister to journalists, highlighting the stark difference between the two.

Furthermore, Shah condemned the politics of misinformation and low-level tactics adopted by Congress under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership. He urged journalists to uphold truth and integrity in their reporting, safeguarding the public from misinformation.

Shah emphasized the importance of contesting elections based on principles, actions, and manifestos rather than resorting to spreading falsehoods and distorting opponents’ policies.

The event showcased BJP’s unwavering commitment to transparency, equality, and truth in the political landscape, urging for a fair and informed electoral process.
