Northeast: Union Home Minister Amit Shah extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh on their Statehood Day, celebrating their cultural heritage and significant contributions to the nation.
In his message to Mizoram, Shah praised the state’s rich heritage, emphasizing the pride its people bring to India. He expressed optimism for the state’s continued progress and prosperity. Similarly, in his tribute to Arunachal Pradesh, Shah highlighted the state’s breathtaking landscapes and diverse traditions, acknowledging its integral role in India’s development.
Shah’s remarks go beyond ceremonial wishes, underscoring the Northeast’s essential place in India’s cultural and economic framework. To commemorate the occasion, he is set to inaugurate the “Unity Utsav” festival in New Delhi, which will highlight the art, traditions, and cuisine of the region.
