Northeast Desk, 13th May: Union Minister Kiren Rijiju exuded confidence in the BJP’s success in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, attributing it to the widespread influence of the Modi wave gripping the nation. Responding to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s remarks, Rijiju dismissed them, emphasizing that Kejriwal cannot divert attention from his alleged misdeeds.
While on a visit to Ladakh, Rijiju demonstrated his commitment to serving remote regions by personally assisting in clearing a stuck vehicle along the newly constructed Nimmu-Padum-Darchen Road in Zanskar Valley. His hands-on approach and leadership in overseeing the operation showcased his dedication to improving infrastructure and accessibility in challenging terrains.
Taking to Twitter, Rijiju expressed pride in being the first Union Minister to drive on the historic NPD Road, highlighting its transformative potential for the entire Zanskar Valley and the broader Ladakh region. He attributed the road’s construction to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s focus on developing neglected areas, underscoring its significance in fostering connectivity, access to services, and economic opportunities for local residents.
