Union Minister Kiren Rijiju: Rahul Gandhi’s Disapproval of PM Modi Rooted in Anti-Corruption Stance
Northeast Desk, 12th December: Union Minister of Earth Sciences of India, Kiren Rijiju, strongly criticized the Congress party on December 12 in response to IT raids at the premises of MP Dhiraj Sahu in Madhya Pradesh.
It’s worth noting that the amount of unaccounted cash discovered in locations associated with Congress Rajya Sabha MP Dhiraj Sahu reached Rs 353 crore on Sunday, escalating into a significant political controversy due to the involvement of the Congress MP.
During a press conference, Rijiju expressed dismay that despite the substantial discovery of unaccounted cash linked to Congress Rajya Sabha MP Dhiraj Sahu, Rahul Gandhi has purportedly shown support for the individual in question.
“Following the cash discovery, Congress leaders remain silent on the matter…the Congress party’s name should be ‘corruption’ party,” added Rijiju.
Furthermore, Rijiju emphasized that wherever there is a BJP government, action against corruption will be taken.
Rijiju also alleged that Congress and its allies have propagated a disease called ‘corruption.’
Supporting his statement, the Union Minister claimed that corrupt leaders often argue that during the Congress regime, the country experienced tranquility because, along with Congress, the party allowed others to engage in corruption.
Rijiju summarized the Congress policy as ‘looto aru auro ko bhi lootneh doh’ (plunder and let others plunder too).
To eradicate the corruption epidemic, PM Modi has introduced two guarantees: Make India among the leading nations and end corruption.
“Due to Modi’s guarantees, leaders like Rahul Gandhi among others harbor hatred towards PM Modi,” asserted Rijiju.
