Union Minister Nitin Gadkari Announces Rs 6,621.62 Crore Allocation for Frontier Highway in Arunachal Pradesh

Northeast Desk, 12th March: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari revealed on Tuesday (March 12) that the Centre has approved an allocation of Rs 6,621.62 crore for the construction of the ambitious frontier highway in Arunachal Pradesh.

The allocation is specifically earmarked for the development of eight packages on National Highway 913 (Frontier Highway), utilizing the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode to transition to an intermediate lane configuration, informed the minister.

The project entails the construction of a highway spanning a total length of 265.49 kilometres, marking a significant step towards enhancing connectivity and infrastructure development in Arunachal Pradesh.
