Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav Reviews Aspirational Districts Programme Progress in Dhubri

Dhubri,: Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for AYUSH and Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare, Prataprao Jadhav, today undertook a comprehensive day-long review of Dhubri district’s advancements under the Aspirational Districts Programme. His visit underscored the central government’s unwavering commitment to fostering equitable growth across the nation.

Upon his arrival, Minister Jadhav convened a high-level meeting at the Dhubri District Circuit House auditorium. The crucial session saw active participation from key officials and stakeholders, all gathered to critically assess ongoing development strategies and initiatives aimed at propelling the district forward. District Commissioner Dibakar Nath spearheaded the administrative delegation. Notable attendees included Dr. Debamoy Sanyal, Chairman of Dhubri Municipality, along with former MLAs Ashwini Sarkar (Golakganj) and Ashok Singhi (Bilasipara). Senior government officials from various departments also contributed to the discussions, which collectively highlighted a unified resolve to expedite progress in vital sectors such as health, education, infrastructure, and other crucial social indicators.

Later in his itinerary, the Minister visited Gauripur Girls High School in Gauripur town. During his inspection, he specifically assessed a newly constructed classroom at the Girls’ Higher Secondary School. This particular stop served to reiterate the government’s steadfast dedication to enhancing educational facilities, especially in regions that have historically lagged in development. Minister Jadhav’s Dhubri tour was primarily designed to gain first-hand insights into the on-ground execution of various flagship schemes falling under the ambit of the Aspirational Districts Programme, further solidifying the central government’s vision of balanced and inclusive development that effectively bridges regional disparities throughout India.
