Guwahati: Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal had a meeting with a delegation of AIR and DD Dibrugarh officials at his residence in Dibrugarh on Wednesday.
The Union Minister spoke with the delegates and engaged them in conversation about a range of topics, including the subject of the closure of the Dibrugarh-based AIR Daily Assamese News Bulletin.
The Union Minister also spoke to Apurva Chandra, Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting over the phone and urged him to take appropriate action with reference to the issues raised in the meeting.
