Union MoS Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya Reviews Key Projects and Engages with Stakeholders in Arunachal Pradesh
Itanagar: Union Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution, Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya, concluded a productive two-day visit to Arunachal Pradesh’s Lower Dibang Valley district, focusing on health, infrastructure, and community development.
During her tour, Bambhaniya visited the Community Health Centre and the Dibang Multi-Purpose Hydro Power project site in Dambuk village. She engaged with ASHA workers, addressing their challenges and encouraging them to continue their vital contributions to community health.
The Union minister also inspected the Food Corporation of India (FCI) godown in Roing, visited the 3F Oil Palm Factory in Jia, and toured the RIWATCH Museum at Khinjili. She interacted with the Ahito Producer Group and praised the Self Help Groups for their exceptional food-based products and handloom and handicraft displays, lauding their dedication and creativity.
During a review meeting on November 16, Bambhaniya emphasized the importance of addressing challenges in scheme implementation, stating, “Problems can only be resolved when they reach the right ears. With the ethos of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas,’ we aim to make inclusive development a part of our work culture.” She also approved the establishment of an FCI Divisional Office at Pasighat, a key move for streamlining operations in the region.
State Minister Gabriel D Wangsu outlined the difficulties faced by the departments of Food & Civil Supply and Legal Metrology, seeking Bambhaniya’s intervention for improved service delivery. Advisor Mutchu Mithi and MLA Puinnyo Apum also contributed to discussions, emphasizing regional needs and aspirations.
The meeting was attended by district officials, including ZPC Mama Miso, Director of Food & Civil Supply Wayong Khimhun, Lower Dibang Valley Deputy Commissioner Soumya Saurabh, SP Ringu Ngupok, and other key stakeholders.
Bambhaniya’s visit reflects the government’s commitment to addressing grassroots concerns, fostering community development, and ensuring efficient implementation of welfare initiatives in Arunachal Pradesh.
