Guwahati: As many as nine nine people were killed and two others sustained injuries after a wall collapsed in Lucknow of Uttar Pradesh following heavy rains.
The accident location was visited by district magistrate Surya Pal Gangwar to assess the situation.
The incident happened in Lucknow’s capital city’s Dilkusha Cantt. Those injured in the incident were immediately rushed to the civil hospital nearby.
Doctors treating them informed that the two are currently out of danger and healing.
The district magistrate has provided financial assistance for the surviving family members of those killed in the incident.
It should be mentioned that the wall collapse occurred after 24 hours of exceptionally severe rain in Lucknow.
