Guwahati: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath apparently received a bomb threat.
The death threat was allegedly received on August 2 via a message on the WhatsApp helpline for the police control centre.
Following the incident, authorities set out right away to identify the message’s origin.
According to reports, the message threatened to bomb the chief minister in three days.
Meanwhile, the helpline’s operation commander reported a crime to the police in the interim. A search is being conducted to find and apprehend the sender.
A case has been filed at the police station in Sushant Golf City.
Further investigations are underway.
