UP Election: BJP MLA chased away by villagers of his own constituency

Guwahati: A Bhartiya Janta Party MLA was chased by locals of his own constituency in Muzaffarnagar when he arrived for campaigning for the upcoming assembly election in Uttar Pradesh.

A video has been widely circulating on social media where the visual can clearly be seen that how the angry villagers were chasing the MLA

Vikram Singh Saini, the BJP MLA from Khatauli, had arrived for a meeting at a village on Wednesday when he found himself facing angry residents.

Meanwhile, the villagers can be heard yelling anti-MLA slogans. Many people have linked the hostility to the controversial farm legislation that was abolished by the government last year after a year-long protest.

Saini lashes out in return, then folds his hands in resignation as he’s driven away, forced to leave his own constituency.

It may be mentioned that Uttar Pradesh votes from February 10 in seven phases. The results will be declared on March 10.
