UP: “Lady Don” threatens to blow up CM Yogi along with Gorakhpur temple
Guwahati: Following a tweet threatening to blow up the Gorakhpur temple along with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the temple’s security has been tightened up.
Following the tweet, police conducted a search of the temple grounds, but discovered nothing, prompting the filing of a case and the commencement of an investigation.
A message from a Twitter account known as ‘Lady Don’ said that bombs had been set to blow up the Vidhan Sabha in Lucknow, as well as railway and bus stations and that Bhim Sena state president Seema Singh and a man named Rashid had planted explosives.
Sulaiman Bhai, according to the next tweet, put a bomb in Gorakhnath Math. After an hour, a tweet from the same account warned of a detonation at the Meerut CDA Army Cantt, as well as the fact that one Furqan Bhai had put bombs in ten locations throughout Meerut.
After the tweet, Gorakhpur Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Vipin Tada stated a large search was conducted at Gorakhnath temple and other locations, but no explosives or detonators were discovered. “It appears to have been a joke,” the SSP stated.
