UP: PM sends 100 pairs of jute footwear
Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent 100 pairs of jute footwear to Kashi Vishwanath Dham workers in Varanasi of Uttar Pradesh.
According to reports, PM Modi has been deeply connected with Kashi Vishwanath Dham and he keeps a close eye on all concerns and developments in Varanasi.
The Prime Minister recently learned that most individuals working at Kashi Vishwanath Dham had to labour barefoot because it is illegal to wear leather or rubber footwear on temple grounds, reports claimed.
Priests, individuals conducting Seva, security guards, sanitation workers, and other temple employees are among them.
Reports further claimed that PM quickly purchased 100 pairs of jute footwear and delivered them to Kashi Vishwanath Dham so that people performing their responsibilities would not have to go barefoot in the freezing weather.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi opened the first phase of the Kashi Vishwanath Dham project in Varanasi last month.
However, the Prime Minister had greeted the labourers who were involved in the project’s construction with flowers before inaugurating it in his Lok Sabha constituency.
It may be mentioned that, PM Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also had lunch with workers involved in the Kashi Vishwanath Dham Corridor’s construction.
