Uttar Pradesh: BJP Leader Pramod Kumar Yadav Fatally Shot Dead in Jaunpur
National Desk, 7th March: In a tragic incident on the morning of March 7, prominent BJP leader Pramod Kumar Yadav was fatally shot in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. Reports indicate that Yadav, a resident of Bodhapur and a member of the BJP district unit, was driving when unknown assailants on a bike signaled him to stop and opened fire.
The incident occurred around 10 a.m., leaving Yadav critically wounded. He was rushed to the district hospital for treatment but, unfortunately, succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have launched a search operation to apprehend the perpetrators, and an investigation into the case is underway.
Yadav, who previously contested the Malhani seat in the 2012 Assembly elections, was a respected figure in the local political arena. Uttar Pradesh police have assured that investigations are ongoing, and those responsible for the heinous act will be brought to justice swiftly.
