Uttar Pradesh man arrested for hoisting Pakistan’s flag at home
Guwahati: A man was arrested after Pakistan’s national flag was allegedly hoisted at his home in Kushinagar district of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.
The flag was raised on Friday at around 11 am at a residence in Vedupar Mustaquil village under the Tariya Sujan police station area of Kushinagar.
Additional Superintendent of Police (SP) Ritesh Kumar Singh stated that the flag was taken down as soon as authorities learned about it.
The arrested accused has been identified as 21-year-old Salman. A case has been registered against Salman and his aunt Shahnaz (22), who made the flag.
Apart from this, the police have also charged a person named Imran under the Juvenile Justice Act for his assistance in hoisting the flag.
