Veteran Actor Arun Bali Passes Away
Guwahati: Veteran actor Arun Bali, who starred in various TV shows and Bollywood blockbusters like 3 Idiots and Lage Raho Munna Bhai, breathed his last at the age of 79 at his residence in Mumbai on Friday morning.
Bali was hospitalised to a hospital at the beginning of this year for Myasthenia gravis, an autoimmune disease that is brought on by a breakdown in nerve-muscle communication.
His son Ankush reported that although he was responding well to the medication, he passed away at around 4.30 am.
“Dad abandoned us. His condition, myasthenia gravis, was present. He was indecisive for two to three days. After telling the caretaker he needed to use the restroom, he said he would want to sit down and never got up “He spoke to PTI.
It’s ironic that his final movie, Goodbye, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Rashmika Mandanna, was just released today.
Bali made his acting debut as the famous actor Shah Rukh Khan’s uncle in the TV series Doosra Keval. He later appeared in other programmes as the historical drama Chanakya, Swabhimaan, Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand, Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan, and P.O.W. – Bandi Yuddh Ke.
Saugandh, Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Khalnayak, Satya, Hey Ram, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, 3 Idiots, Ready, Barfi, Manmarziyaan, Kedarnath, Samrat Prithviraj, and Laal Singh Chaddha are a few of his well-known films.
Three daughters and a son survive Bali.
