Veteran Actor Mithun Chakraborty Hospitalized After Medical Emergency

Entertainment Desk, 10th February: Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty was admitted to Apollo Hospital on Saturday after experiencing a medical emergency.

The actor, feeling unwell and complaining of chest discomfort, was immediately transported to the emergency unit at Apollo Hospital in Kolkata.

Further details regarding his health condition are eagerly awaited.

Mithun has received numerous honors over his remarkable career that began in 1976. He has received several notable honors, including the National Award.

Renowned for his roles in blockbuster films like Disco Dancer, Jung, Prem Pratigyaa, Pyar Jhukta Nahin, and Mard, Mithun was honored with the prestigious Padma Bhushan Award this year.

In July 2023, Mithun’s mother passed away in Mumbai after battling geriatric issues for some time. His father, Basantokumar Chakraborty, passed away in April 2020 at the age of 95 due to kidney failure.

His latest film, ‘Kabuliwala,’ has recently hit theaters in the United States.
